GOV 105 : Texas Government

Course Description

This online class offers students an opportunity to become acquainted with Texas political institutions and processes while encouraging critical thinking and demonstrating the crucial importance of knowledge and participation in a democratic society.

A brief survey of the organization and process of Texas government. Topics include the Constitution, political parties, interest groups, elections, branches of government, and taxing and spending. (UT catalog 2006-2008)
