M 403L : Calculus II for Business and Economics

Course Description

This online calculus course follows Mathematics 403K and is designed especially for students in business and the social sciences. Word problems use real-life business examples pertaining to finance and economics, including price and demand equations, and the optimization of profit. Students must have sufficient knowledge of basic algebra to succeed.

Differential and integral calculus of functions of several variables with applications, infinite series, improper integrals; introductions to probability, differential equations, matrices, systems of linear equations, and linear programming.

4 college credit hours.

Mathematics 403K, 408C, or 308L with a grade of at least C.
