Effective Communication Certificate Program

How you communicate reveals a great deal about you and your organization. Successful professionals prepare in advance to make a good impression. The Effective Communication Certificate Program is designed for individuals and organizations interested in developing essential skills to write effectively, speak with confidence, and interact with others in a professional manner. The practical tools and techniques taught in these classes will help you project a positive, polished, and professional image.

Certificate Requirements

To qualify for this certificate, complete the four core workshops and two electives for a total of six workshops. Choose the courses that best match your specific needs, and complete the certificate on your own schedule.

Note that previously completed workshops can be applied toward the certificate.

Please note that the list of core and elective workshops has been modified. If you began this program before June 1, 2007, you may apply either the new or old cores and electives to this program. Some certificates share the same workshops. Students pursuing more than one certificate program may only transfer one workshop.

No prerequisites are required for this certificate.
