Social and Travel Opportunities

SAGE is definitely not all work and no play. We have both Social and Travel programs for members interested in participating.

The Social Program consists of a one day event, during each of the three semesters, in some interesting places within driving distance of Austin. In addition we have a dinner at the end of each of the semesters at a local restaurant, with the seminar directors as our guests.

Travel is when we spend one or more nights away from Austin during the between-semesters time. There have been trips to New Orleans, Chicago, West Texas/ Big Bend as well as a week cruise in the Caribbean. Plans are underway for a 5 day trip to Ft. Worth/Dallas in November '06 as well as an overnight to Port Aransas in February '07. Each event is planned by the Social or Travel Committees and is paid for by the participants. Join us in deciding where or what we will do next!!
