Much of the credit for World Lecture Hall goes to Martha Morgan, who built it over several years into an internationally respected academic resource. Please see the history page in this section to find out about the original creators of WLH as a concept and as technology.
The FourSite design, a comprehensive proposal for the aesthetic and functional improvements of World Lecture Hall, was developed by Edward Anderson, Edmara Cavalcanti Reid, Ana Maria Romay, and Dwayne Windham as a team project for Susanna Wong Herndon's course Visual Design and the Digital Medium, LIS 385T6, at UT Austin.
The FourSite design was implemented and the new WLH built by Elias Ponvert of the database group at UT's Center for Instructional Technologies. The project was overseen by Dave Campbell and Susanna Wong Herndon, interim director of the CIT.
Judythe Wilbur of the communications group at the CIT provided editorial assistance and TJ Fullington, also of the communications group, provided additional graphics and technical support.
On a personal note, Elias Ponvert wishes to thank all those above, especially Dave and Susanna for their seemingly infinite patience and support. |
