WLH History

1993 On 7 June 1993, TeamWeb founds the University of Texas Web, where in 1994 World Lecture Hall will be published as Web content.
1994 Richard Mendez, founding UT Webmaster, publishes WWW for Instructional Use in the World section of the UT Web. Courses are listed under any of 22 categories, from Biology to one called Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics.
1995 Martha Morgan becomes editor and administrator of World Lecture Hall.
1998 Associate editor Gary Green joins WLH.
1999 Developmental World Lecture Hall dynamic database-driven site underway, with associate editor David Workman, succeeded by Gary Osburn.
2000 World Lecture Hall begins publishing from its database-driven site using ColdFusion and Windows NT servers.
2001 The Center for Instructional Technologies assumes the administration and design of WLH.
